Games : Minecraft Spawn Help (cheats enabled)

I messed upped really bad. I was mining and i got really of track now i can't find my house. I googled some ways to fix this. I tried to use a compass but it lead me to my original spawn point. After that I tried to use the command /spawnpoint but that just made my original spawn point my spawn point after i die. Please help I'm really desperate
