Games : Does a laptop for Oculus Rift exist at all?

I want to buy a gaming laptop with an Nvidia GPU, that will work with Oculus Rift (DK2) without a problem.

(And ideally be able to do NVidia 3DVision/3DTV Play - but this is a secondary concern.)

You'd think this should be possible, but as it turns out, it's rather hard, if not impossible.

Here's a summary of the problems I am having:

1: All new laptops seem to come with Optimus, which I understand means the GPU is not directly linked to the HDMI output. This seems to cause all sorts of problems: a. Latency because the discrete GPU is only use to render. The frame needs to be then copied over to the buffer of the Intel on-chip GPU in order to send to the HDMI output, which adds latency. b. Apparently since the HDMI is works off the Intel on-chip GPU, it's limited to 60Hz, which is bad for Rift and also makes 3DVision/3DTV Play impossible. c. Various reported issues not being able to use DK2 direct mode.

2: In fact, I've been told by NVidia support that the 900M series GPUs don't even have an direct output. (The Nvidia site doesn't even list 3DVision as a feature of 900M GPUs - it does for previous GPU like 765M for example.)

My questions are:

q1: In my information accurate? q2: Do you know of any laptop/method that will bypass these issues?

And can I also pre-empt some answers: "Use a desktop" - No I really want a laptop. "Laptops are slow for gaming" - Not any more. A GTX 970M is about 60%-70% as fast as a GTX 970. "Apparently there are some £2000/$3000 17-inch SLI-laptops that don't this issue." - Ideally I'd like a reasonable 15 inch 970M laptop. I'd even get an outdated GTX 770M/860M laptop, if it gives me what I need.

My correspondence from Nvidia:

You can see the specs of GTX 970M from here : http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-970m/specifications As per this it doesn't support 3DV feature. The Laptops which support NV Optimus / MS Hybrid won't support NVIDIA 3D features the reason is in these Laptops the NVIDIA discrete chipsets will only be used a render only device and there won't be any output ports from that chipsets. Both the Laptop screen as well as the external ports will be from Intel HD on-board graphics. So if you want to sue the 3DV features to use then you need to choose a Laptop that isn't MS Hybrid / NV Optimus. -Nvidia support guy.

Any help would be much appreciated.
