Games : Why was the color of ezio's robe changed in AC: Revelations?

I've been wondering lately why Ezio decided to wear a blue robe when he was in Constantinople, instead of the classic white colored assassins robe.

Is this ever explained in-game? Did they do it because of a cultural difference? I hope someone can shed some light on this!
