I'm trying to get samples of the sound effects from one of my gameboy games, Pocket Bomberman. I'm thinking there are two ways I could do this. Either rip the sound effects using an application or play the game without music and just record the audio and edit out the sounds I want. So, is there an application that can rip sounds from the rom file? Is there an emulator that can mute the music? Is there an application that can replace the music tracks with silent ones?
If there's some kind of weird trick to do it with any of the handhelds I have the cartridge and can record audio from the hardware.
Additionally, if there is a database somewhere of sounds I would be happy with that.
