Games : Minecraft: can you use the /spreadplayer command with armor stands?

Ive been trying to make a bomb and I want to first when the player uses the spawn egg it summons like 10-20 invisible armor stands. HOPEFULLY The /spreadplayer command can spread them above ground and underground at a 10 block radius from the player. then tnt is summoned at the armor stands and that makes the explosion. After that the armor stands are killed. Please help!
