Games : In Fallout New Vegas should I turn on all DLC as a new player?

I'm worried that having all 9 DLC modules turned on at the same time will mean that I get 9 NPCs charging me at the start asking about side missions.


Should a player turn these on after finishing the main quest, or at the start?
