I'm playing as the Jimena dynasty (Tutorial scenario) and I'm approached by two separate Doges from Italy, asking me to join them in a trade embargo against the other Doge. I accepted the first time because they offered 150 gold.
I assumed that a trade embargo would be mostly peaceful. Imagine my surprise when the side I declared the embargo on called in a bunch of powerful allies who sent 5k armies straight to my kingdom.
To make matters worse, I was alone! The diplomacy screen war icon showed only "Jimena Dynasty" under "Attackers" and the Doge I embargoed plus all his allies under "Defenders". The warscore was heavily in their favor. What the hell?
