I'm looking to create some custom worlds/maps for my children but I would prefer to design and create them outside of the game (I don't have the time available to manually build my designs with individual blocks in game) Are there any design tools I can use to create/build, then allow me to import them into a new world?
I've heard mention of MCEdit but have yet to mess around with it, is it the sort of thing I'm looking for? Is it any good?
