Games : Forge not working?

I have encountered a problem with my forge. Out of curiosity, I deleted everything in my downloads folder. Unfortunately this also deleted profiles, forge, and other stuff to do with minecraft. For some reason the mods folder is still their even though forge is gone. Anyways please help me. I am willing to try anything.
