Games : I play Assassin's creed 3 and it lags and low fps

I have a laptop with - 1)Intel core i3-380M processor 2.53 GHz 2)windows 7 64-bit 3)ram 4gb 4)intel hd graphics

The game lags and has very low fps. It works on my pc but runs on low fps.
