Games : Are there any multiplayer/web games with mods?

Are there any games out there whose primary or only function is multiplayer play, who let you install mods? And proper mods, I'm talking about modding game assets, effects, AI scripts, etc.

I do not know of any native game software that does that. If not, I would like to know about any browser-based games as well, the more sophisticated the better.
