The Playstation 4 requires a PS Plus account for online play. However, I have noticed that various games have some online functionality without a PS Plus subscription:
- Watch_Dogs online hacking and tailing modes.
- War Thunder.
- The Destiny Demo (I'm not sure about the full game).
My questions are: (1) why do some games have online functionality without PS Plus? (2) Is there a list of games that fall into this category?
