Games : Using Thrustmaster Dual Analog 4 for every game

I just bought the above mentioned controller and it rarely works on any game, those it works on, works weirdly, like the button mapping is odd, the joysticks don't work. I used x360ce, but that didn't help either, maybe it's because x360cr recognizes the controller as Dual Analog 3.2 and not 4, not sure though and also is the controller set like a PS controller, because I've had no experience with that and therefore mapping feels odd.
