Games : Is there a plot or story in NFS Rivals?

I have played only about the first half hour of Rivals gameplay, but I couldn't find any reference to any plot or storyline except that I can be a racer or cop and can also switch between them whenever I wished to. There seems to be no story whatsoever.

But when I checked out the Plot section of the NFS Rivals Wikipedia page, it seems that there is a story centered around a racer named Zephyr. Googled for it, but couldn't find much. Can anybody suggest some links where I could find further references to this Zephyr character? Or is it a Wikipedia error?
