Games : How did Eddie Gluskin kill so many people in 12 hours?

In Outlast: Whistleblower, you are chased by a serial killer and madman named Eddie Gluskin. At one point, he traps you inside of a locker and knocks you out with sleeping gas. Then the screen fades to black, and you see the words "12 hours later" appear on screen.

While you are stuck in the locker, you see him doing unspeakable things to the other variants, and you get the impression that he does this to a lot of the variants. In fact, he even has a reputation for mutilating the other variants, which is evidenced by the fact that Dennis talks about him, and offers you as a sacrifice in his place.

You can also tell from this video (warning: gore) and from seeing bodies lying around before hand, I would guess that he has probably murdered some 20-50 variants. How did he manage to abduct/mutilate/kill so many of them in such a short period of time? We know that at the beginning of the game he was trapped in a cell just like all the other variants, and yet in 12 short hours, he has already stuffed a gymnasium full of corpses and gained a reputation among all of the other inmates. That seems a little far fetched to me.
