Games : Global Operations don't work on Windows 8.1

I recently installed Global Operations on my Windows 8.1 laptop (Dell 15R N5110) the game video plays at the start of the game but after that the error "Global Operations Client has Stopped Working" error happens.

How can I fix this? Please help. I tried running the game in comparability mode for Windows 7 but did not work..
