What tool can I use, given a file (of whatever format the tool needs) of touching (but non-intersecting) 3d solids, generate a minecraft map out of those solids?
The intention is to take in a 3d scan of an archaeological dig, layer by layer, and use this as a teaching tool in minecraft. I'm familiar with the existence of pymclevel, but I'm not sure "how to get there from here." (assuming the reading-in of a volume and writing to pymclevel.) Is that the best tool for the job, or are there better tools that have already been invented for this purpose?
